I. Overview of Alloy 926(N08926, 14529):

Alloy 926 N08926 usually has a Cr content of 14.0-18.0% and a nickelcontent of 24.0-26.0%. It is a nickel-based alloy containing titanium andaluminum. It contains enough chromium to form and maintain a sufficient amountof chromium oxide to protect it under high temperature conditions. It is moreresistant to heat than traditional chromium nickel stainless steels such as 304; Higher nickel content makes it have better oxidation resistance than standard18-8 stainless steel, and its oxidation resistance is not inferior to thehigher grades with work temperature up to 1900 Fahrenheit (1038 )alloy.

III. Physical properties:

1. Density: 8.1 g / cm3

2. Melting point: 1320-1430 ° C.

3. The minimum value of the mechanicalproperties at room temperature:

(1) Tensile strength:   650Rm N / mm2.

(2) Yield strength:   295 RP0.2 N/mm2.

(3) Elongation A5%: 35.

IV. Features:

1. High resistance to pitting and crevicecorrosion in halide media and acid media containing H2S.

2. It can effectively resist chloride ionstress corrosion cracking in practical application.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance to variouscorrosion in ordinary oxidation and reduction environment.

4. Compared with Cronifer 1925 LC-Alloy 904L, the mechanical properties are greatly improved.

5. Compared with the same series of alloyswith 18% nickel content, its metallurgical stability has been greatly improved.

6. Applicable certification for pressurevessel manufacturing (VdTUV-196 400 and ASMEcertification).

V. Applications: Alloy926 (N08926) is a versatile material that can be applied in many industrialfields:
1. Fire protection systems, seawater purification systems, hydraulic andirrigation pipeline systems in marine engineering. 2. Bleaching pond in cellulosepulp production. 3. Polished rods in corrosive oil wells. 4. Hose system inmarine engineering. 5. Pipes, joints and air flow systems in acid gasproduction. 6. Components in FGD system. 7. Evaporators, heat exchangers,filters, mixers, etc. in phosphoric acid production. 8. Sulfuric acidseparation and condensation system.
