German grade: W.Nr.2.4610
I. Overview of Hastelloy C-4(N06455):
Hastelloy C-4(N06455)is an austenitic low carbon nickel-molybdenum-chromiumalloy. The main difference between Nicrofer 6616hMo and other early-developedalloys with similar chemical composition is the low carbon, silicon, iron, andtungsten content. Such a chemical composition makes it exhibit excellentstability at 650-1040 ° C, and improves the ability to resist intergranularcorrosion, so that avoid edge line corrosion sensitivity and weld heat affectedzone corrosion under appropriate manufacturing conditions.
1. Main features:
(1) Excellent corrosion resistance to mostcorrosive media, especially under reduced conditions.
(2) Excellent resistance to local corrosion inhalides.
II. Chemical composition: %
