I. Overview of Hastelloy C(2.4610)
Hastelloy C(2.4610)is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloycontaining tungsten, which has extremely low silicon and carbon content.
Main Features:
1. Excellent oxidation resistance to mostcorrosive media under oxidation and reduction conditions.
2. Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion,crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

III. Physical properties:
(1) Density: ρ = 8.9g / cm3
(2) Melting temperature range: 1325 ~ 1370℃.
IV. Application:
1. It has been widely used in chemical andpetrochemical fields, such as in components and catalytic systems that comeinto contact with organic compounds containing chloride. This material isespecially suitable for use in high temperature, mixed inorganic and organicacids (such as formic acid and acetic acid) and seawater corrosiveenvironments. Other application areas:
(1) Pulp and paper industry, such as digestionand bleaching containers.
(2) Washing tower, reheater, wet steam fan,etc. in FGD system.
(3) Equipment and components operating in anacid gas environment.
(4) Reactor for acetic acid and acidicproducts.
(5) Sulfuric acid condenser.
(6) Methylene diphenyl isocyanate (MDI).
(7) Production and processing of impurephosphoric acid.
2. Hastelloy C alloy has been widely used in most chemical fields and hightemperature environments. Typical application areas:
(1) Flue gas desulfurization system.
(2) Pickling and acid regeneration plants.
(3) Production of acetic acid and agriculturalchemicals.
(4) Titanium dioxide production (chlorinemethod).
(5) Electrolytic plating.

Ex-factory status: Seamless Tube: solidsolution + acid white, length can be fixed; Plate: solid solution, pickling,trimming; Welded Tube: solid solution acid white + RT% flaw detection; Forging:annealing + turning; the bar is delivered in the state of forging, surfacepolishing or lapping; the strip is delivered after cold rolling, solid solutionsoftening, and descaling; the wire is solid-dissolved and pickled in a disc orstraight strip, solid solution straight polished.
